BEFORE THE SPORTS EVENT
  1. Negotiate the terms of the event.  Sign on with the team, league or school and arrange shooting terms.

  2. Plan your final product.  Incorporate borders, collages and album pages as products to sell at the events.  Use team colors, mascots and logos.  Buy ExpressDigital Templates, purchase templates from partner companies or make your own templates in the Template Workshop.  Templates are great for memory mates, collages and more!

  3. Hire or schedule assistants.  The number will depend on the event size.

  4. Create a customized PhotoReflect.com site.  Increase sales through offering an e-store for your customers.

  5. Plan your marketing.  Before attending the event make sure you have marketing items with your phone number, website, services, etc.

SETTING UP

  1. Arrive early and prepare your photo booth.  Set up table, tent, computers and printers.

  2. Lay out your marketing materials.  Make sure your company name is visible with signs, tablecloths, business cards, and marketing slicks.  Have a note pad or laptop ready for customer contact info.

  3. Assign shooting jobs.  Use the tournament program to plan the day.

AT THE EVENT

  1. Shoot the action.  Work from the sidelines and use assistants to shoot multiple areas of a tournament at once.

  2. Load photos into DARKROOM software.  Throughout the day load the pictures into DARKROOM.

  3. Sell your goods.  Use viewing stations for customers to find their photos and make orders directly from the software.

  4. Collect customer information.  As guests order photos, get their information to market when their photos are placed on PhotoReflect.com, for reprints and up-selling.

  5. Collect money.  After the guests place their order, collect their payment and print a receipt.  DARKROOM can automatically print a receipt to a small receipt printer, ink jet, or dye-sub.

  6. Print the placed orders.  Once orders are placed have DARKROOM automatically print the orders.

  7. Prepare the final product.  Place pictures in paper frames, envelopes or plastic sleeves.  Remember to include marketing items.

  8. Deliver the final product.  The customer can walk away with their order instantly, prints can be brought to the next game, packets can be given to the coach or orders can be shipped directly to the customer.

AFTER THE EVENT

  1. Post your photos on PhotoReflect.com.  Post your event photos as soon as possible after the event.  In DARKROOM enter the email addresses you collected, and the guests will be automatically emailed that their pictures have been posted.

  2. Print additional orders and specialty products yourself or through professional labs on the Labtricity network.  There are over 200 labs to choose from for all your professional printing needs.
